Orland, Florida boatbuilder Regal Boats use their home state influence to make a big statement at the Miami International Boat Show.

Regal took the opportunity provided by the signature tradeshow to unveil the all-new LX43 to a large crowd of industry and consumer attendees.

The model will be Regal's largest offering for an outboard bowrider and marks another step in the company leading the industry in luxury and performance.

The LX43 will carry an LOA of 44'1" (13.4 m) with a 13'2" (4.0 m) beam and a draft of 43" (1.09 m) with the drive down (32" with drive up). She will carry a 498 gallon (1885 L) fuel tank and a 71 gallon (286 L) fresh water tank. She will be yacht certified and utilizes Regal's renowned OceanTrac2 hull design for big water capability.

According to the company, the LX43 was borne out of the success of the 43 SAV (Sport Activity Vessel) and has integrated the best features from the SAV into the LX for both open and closed boating. The enclosed hardtop of the LX offers multiple configuration options that can be customized for the owner's needs. Thanks to an impressive array of digital switching, users can open the expansive sunroof, windshield, and side windows to bring in fresh air and sunlight, or can leave them closed along with a magnetic wind door to stay shielded from the elements. Other perks of the enclosed hardtop include an AC and heating system that can control comfortability in all conditions.

The cockpit is the signature feature that defines the LX43, and its malleable layout for both open or closed boating gives users the ability to enjoy their on-water experience in almost any conditions.

Up front is a massive bow lounge, and at the stern is a full complement of fishing features for any hardcore angler. As the largest in the LX class, the LX43 offers much larger cabin space compared to the next available size, the LX36, as well as the upgraded technology from the SAV and Regal's renowned premium fit and finish.

Anglers will appreciate dual pressurized live well at the stern overlooking the transom, as well as a set of rocket launchers on the tower for rod storage.

Other standout features include an electronically-actuated helm seat that rises and lowers, a one-touch cabin door that makes access below deck quick and easy, and a one-touch opening windshield to provide access up front even if your hands are full.

At the helm are triple 22" displays that offer the most tech of any boat in its class. The LX43 uses Garmin systems, not to mention other perks like RGBW lighting, joystick piloting, a bow thruster, and a wireless phone charger. Interiors are fully customizable and include a choice of towers and audio brands. Using Regal's Ultimate Trim Series, owners literally have over 1,000,000 ways to customize their boat.

At the stern, a large lounge area includes an impressive wet bar with a sink, electric grill, drop-down TV, refrigerator, storage, and AC/heat vents to control airflow. A starboard dive door aids entry/egress from the dock, and the increasingly popular fold-down terrace doors allow the entire stern to be converted into a social setting for hanging out at the sandbar or while anchored up.
