Bayliner pulled out the stops today to reveal their latest deck boat design: the all-new Element M17.
The 17 foot deck boat is a clear representative of the increased efforts being put forth by ownership group Brunswick Corporation in recent years, and the M17 is likely to garner a response thanks to its much improved features and attractive pricepoint within its segment. Complete packages including a galvanized trailer start at just $18,995 USD.
The Element M17 represents Bayliner's largest in the 'M' Series lineup, where the previous flagship was the relatively undersized M15. The M17 not only brings additional length, but also a host of new features and tech that are likely draw the eyes of those who may have previously overlooked the brand.
Notable features include expanded seating for up to 7 passengers, a rounded M-hull design for a smooth ride with enhanced maneuverability, premium upholstery with detailed stitching and color-matched piping, improved storage throughout the interior perimeter, and integrated tech features at the helm for an enhanced driving experience. Each M17 also includes 9 integrated cupholders and multiple USB charging ports.
Power options including a standard 60 hp Mercury outboard, as well as optional 75 or 90 horsepower upgrades.

There will be three variations of the M17, each designed to specialized in towsports, family cruising, or fishing. The M17 “M Sport” package includes a 6-foot bimini top, automatic bilge pump, stereo, snap cover, and ski tow pylon for water sports. The “M Comfort” package includes several sport options as well as bow filler cushions, bow block off, stainless steel upgrade, and portside lounge seat with cupholders. The "M Fish” package includes an aerated livewell, fish finder, bow casting platform and seat, and a trolling motor bracket.
The first in-person opportunities to check out the M17 will be at the Annapolis Boat Show from October 7-10th in Maryland, and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, one of North America's biggest events, running from October 27-31st in Florida.
