Sunreef Yachts has announced a strategic partnership with Brabus Marine to develop a line of luxury power catamarans.
The collaboration was officially announced at the Monaco Yacht Club during an exclusive night hosted by Sunreef Yachts and Brabus during the Monaco Yacht Show. The event included VIP guests from all over the world, including Sunreef Ambassadors Rafael Nadal, Fernando Alonso, and Mike Horn.
As part of the partnership, Sunreef and Brabus will develop a unique line of luxury motor catamarans based on the Sunreef Ultima 55, set for release in 2025. Both companies are also committed to expanding their collaboration with further models to be announced in the future.
"Partnering with Brabus allows us to explore a new, entirely unique level of bespoke elegance for our catamarans. By combining our experience in designing luxurious, custom built multihulls with Brabus’ unmistakable signature style, we are creating products that will redefine luxury on the water," said Francis Lapp, Founder and President Sunreef Yachts, in a press release.
The Sunreef Brabus Ultima 55 will carry and LOA of 55' (16.5 m) with a 18'4" (5.6 m) beam. She will be offered in two versions, Eco and Classic, one with electric power and the other with gas power. The Eco version boasts two 350 kW electric motors, while the gas-powered version will offer two 600 horsepower inboards. Given Brabus' track record for high performance, there is a strong likelihood the final collaboration will showcase a modified gas-power configuration with increased horsepower.
