Cruisers Yachts will put an impressive cap on 2021 with the launch of the all-new 34 GLS. The announcement likely marks the final piece to an eventful year in which the well-respected manufacturer debuted the 42 GLS early in 2021 before being acquired by MarineMax in a $63 million deal this past May.
The all-new 34 GLS will be the smallest of the well-received GLS Series. The existing lineup includes the original 38 GLS I/O and 38 GLS Outboard iterations, with the 42 GLS serving as the largest option and the new 34 GLS being the small-midsize alternative. It's 35'10" LOA and 11'8" beam will be perfectly suited for weekend and overnight adventures throughout North American waters and will slot into the Cruisers lineup between the existing 338 Outboard and the 38 GLS. The Wisconsin-based company currently builds 16 models ranging from 33 feet to 60 feet.
The boat will be an ideal choice for family cruising with sleeping accommodations for four, a separate stand-up head and shower, a large cockpit with L-shaped seating, and an expansive bow seating area. Power choices will include twin or triple Mercury Verado 300s. A top speed of 46 mph is attainable with a cruising speed of 37 mph with the 600 hp option.
The bow area has seating for up to eight with a drop-in table that can convert into a large sunpad. A Rockford Fosgate stereo provides entertainment options, and an optional foredeck shade can provide coverage from excess sun. The stern galley features a fiberglass inlay sink, fridge, grill, and storage.
Behind the helm is additional adaptive seating that can be flipped or extended to allow for better socializing or sunbathing. Simrad electronics and joystick piloting make the captain's job a user-friendly experience. An oversized sunroof provides ample natural light if desired.
Below deck is a salon featuring a dinette that converts into a spacious berth. The lower galley is compete with a fridge, microwave, and TV. The aft stateroom features a custom sized berth and personal reading lights.
The 34 GLS is available to order from Cruisers dealers and is expected to be available in the first half of 2022.
