Cruisers Yachts has announced a series of flybridge yachts, beginning with the all-new 55 Fly.
The news come after the company's recent announcement in September of a factory expansion for building larger yachts, including an additional 56,000 square feet of manufacturing space at their Pulaski, Wisconsin facility.
Cruisers enjoys strong reputation amongst Great Lakes boaters and was purchased by MarineMax in mid-2021.
The new 55 Fly will mark the latest in a growing trend towards larger designs. The company launched a new flagship 50 GLS in late 2022 and currently has one existing flybridge currently in its fleet -- the 60 Fly.
The new 55 Fly will slot in below the 60 Fly within the existing Cantius Series.
According to a company statement, the new Flybridge series will include three new yachts, starting with the launch of the 55 Fly. The new yachts will be designed from the keel up and are set to have "a sleek, futuristic exterior reminiscent of a spaceship gliding on the water." The new models will feature an interior created in collaboration with renowned superyacht designer Luiz Debasto of Debasto Designs.
According to the company, the design theme is dubbed "Back to Nature in a Tech World" and blends organic shapes in earth and ocean tones, complemented with natural fibers.
Josh Delforge, VP of Operations and Engineering, said in the statement: "We set out to create a 'Super Fly' – a yacht that exceeds all expectations of Cruisers flybridges of the past. Our design team focused on delivering the best-in-class water interaction, a superior flybridge entertaining space, and a fresh interior design direction, all wrapped in a futuristic evolution of the Cantius DNA. We take immense pride in building these amazing new vessels in our facilities in Wisconsin."
Mark Pederson, President of Cruisers Yachts, also added: "This extraordinary series will propel the Cruisers Yachts brand into the future, helping to set a new standard in design, performance, and luxury. We are proud to introduce our brand-new Flybridge series; this symbolizes our enduring dedication to creating exceptional vessels for our customers to always be in awe of."
More details for the 55 Fly are forthcoming with the official launch in spring 2024 and another model following in 2025.
