Wisconsin's Cruisers Yachts has made a big splash at FLIBS with the launch of a new flagship- the 50 GLS.

The new platform will serve as the largest offering in Cruisers' GLS lineup.

In a company press release, the Oconto- company revealed the initial specs for the 50 GLS, which will undoubtedly make it a sought-after model for Great Lakes boaters.

The highly regarded brand has made several notable moves in the last two years -- most notably their acquisition by Florida-based MarineMax for $63 million in May 2021. MarineMax is Cruisers' largest dealer and accounts for over 50% of the manufacturer's revenue. The company also received rave reviews for the launch of the 42 GLS at Fort Lauderdale back in 2020.

The all-new 50 GLS will have a 52'4" LOA (16 m) with a 14'6" beam (4.4 m) and a draught of 34" (up) and 47" (down).

Power will come via triple Mercury 600 Verados paired with Simrad electronics and joystick docking. The helm includes a powered captain's chair and double wide companion chair seat. Underneath the companion chair is storage or an optional ice maker. One of her standout features will be electronically actuated beach doors that lower to create an additional hullside recreational area.

In classic Cruisers styling, the 50 GLS’ open-concept cockpit balances both functionality with entertainment potential. There are multiple seating options between the bow lounge, a midship L-shaped seating area, two aft-facing L-shaped seating areas, and additional bench seating. The bow seating features a powered table, JL Audio speakers, and chiller box. The midship galley features a fiberglass inlay sink, fridge, and storage, plus an optional second refrigerator and 55" pop-up TV.

The transom area features a standard grill, sink, and storage. For comfort, there is an optional opening sunroof along with an optional foredeck and aft deck shade to keep guests out of the hot sun.

Below deck is a forward stateroom, aft sleeping area, and a complete head. The stateroom features a custom queen size berth, hanging locker, 32” Samsung TV, and reading lights. The French door for privacy and skylight with opening porthole completes the room. The aft sleeping area features a custom sized berth along with two facing seats. A filler cushion can be placed to expand the berth area. The lower salon also features a 32” Samsung TV, fridge, and microwave. The head features a sink, toilet, and separate shower stall. Storage hidden behind the mirror and underneath the sink allows you to tuck away personal items.
