DeAntonio Goes Small but Mighty with New D29

Sadly, it does not have a hot tub.

Spain's DeAntonio Yachts has stepped outside of their typical fare with the launch of a smaller, but very well appointed, runabout design.

The all-new D29 will be the second smallest boat in the fleet with only their E23 electric runabout coming in at a smaller size.

The Spanish yachtmaker has earned a unique reputation for incorporating hot tubs into surprisingly small vessels -- most notably the D50 -- the smallest boat on the market to feature the luxury item.

The boutique builder has been venturing into new territory in other regards as well, including the ultra-sleek gas-electric hybrid D28 Formenter prototype.

They also released a new flagship D60 that marks a new era for the company and is set for a 2025 release.

The more modest D29 will carry the same ultra-modern design aesthetic as its larger brethren, just in a smaller package that will make for excellent dayboating or light overnighting.

A consistent feature of DeAntonio's style is a concealed motor beneath a stern sunlounge, which will again be intelligently featured on the D29. Under the hood will be the choice of a either single or twin outboards, ranging from 300-400 horsepower as desired. The twin setup will feature twin 200 hp motors, while a single engine setup will include a single 400 hp motor. The sundeck is large enough to accommodate up to three guests.

The D29 will feature a complete walkaround design and will be available with two roof options -- hardtop or soft top. With the hardtop, the windshield will be fullsized and will link up with the hardtop at the peak. With the soft top, a smaller windshield will provide wind protection while allowing for more sunlight across the deck.

Up front will be a fullsize U-shaped lounge with a console seat aft of the windshield. The cockpit will feature complete dual panoramic screens with intuitive control.

The saloon will feature a fullsize bench seat with table, which can be configured alongside the captain's seat using a tilting backrest.

Below deck is a double berth with a complete head and amenities for overnighting.

The D29 will carry a hull length of 8.0 m (26'3") without a swim platform and a 3.0 m beam (9'10"). She will have a 400 L (105 gal) fuel tank and an 88 L (23 gal) freshwater tank. The D29 will be rated for 10 passengers.
