The all-new 2023 Intrepid 51 Panacea

Big things are afoot at Intrepid Powerboats. The Florida manufacturer has finally let slip the finalized plans for their new flagship - the almighty 51 Panacea.

With a full 51'0" LOA and a 14'8" beam the all-new Panacea is being called "the ultimate intrepid" by the company. That seems fitting, as the new hull is packed from bow to stern with oversized options for anglers, offshore enthusiasts, and adrenaline junkies alike. Some of the rigor for the company's latest flagship may be in part to their purchase by MarineMax in October of 2021.

According to Intrepid, the 51 Panacea will be nearly full customizable and will offer an extensive array of options for customers.

Some of her standout details including a massive helm station with two rows of four seats allowing up to 8 passengers to be locked into the action. A fiberglass hardtop with a full-height glass windshield will protect riders from incoming spray. She'll be outfitted to handle up to quad 600 or quint 450 outboards.

Within the helm will also be a full galley accoutrement with countertop, sink, cutting board, refrigerator, drawers, and a slide-out cooler. An electric sunshade extends from the hardtop to create a covered aft cockpit large enough to accommodate any fishing, diving, or entertaining activities.

Up front, an oversized forward sunpad has room for multiple guests, as does two forward twin sun lounges and wraparound bow seating. The bow seating section can also be converted into a dining area. A rear fold-up bench seat provides additional space at the stern.

Intrepid's signature swing-in hull side dive door on the starboard side will come in extra handy for loading or for swimmers. A hydraulic hullside swim platform on the port side also adds additional recreational space. A large transom door to the swim platform provides another point of entry and easy access to the engines.

Luxury amenities include oversize windows and skylights with ventilating hatches, a V-berth with a head, shower, vanity, and sink, and a full galley with a stovetop, refrigerator, freezer, and sink.

Tech-wise, the 51 Panacea falls right in line with Intrepid's trademark balance of performance and function. Standard tech features include a gyro stabilizer, hydraulic high-performance trim tabs, an insulated fish box with macerator, raw water washdown, bow thruster with twin AGM 24v battery system, anchor windlass w/footswitches, electric hot water heater, 11KW diesel generator (25 gallon tank), 16,000 BTU air conditioning system, and an electric actuating aft cockpit sunshade. For hardcore anglers some available options include recirculating transom and cockpit baitwells and outriggers

The available options list is where the fully customizable capabilities come through as owners will be able to add signature touches to nearly the entire point. Available options include custom hull side paint, boot and accent stripes, custom painted engines, and underwater lighting.
