KingFisher Boats has announced the release of two new models for 2025 -- the 23 XAC and 25 XAC.
Both new models are designed for families, anglers, and small groups and carry on KingFisher's renowned reputation for sturdy construction designed to withstand any conditions on the water.
“At KingFisher, our purpose is to enrich lives while spending time on the water,” said Baxter Bolton, President at KingFisher Boats.
“The 23 and 25 XAC models were designed to reflect that—practical, versatile, and comfortable for fishing or just enjoying life with family and friends. These boats are about more than functionality; they’re about creating opportunities for connection.”
The heavy-gauge aluminum hulls offer a hybrid solution for both fishing and cruising and will be well-suited for both fishing and casual outings in waterways in both Western and Central Canada. KingFisher, based out of British Columbia, is well-known for building capability that matches the harsh waters of the Pacific Northwest. But in Central Canada and the Great Lakes, the large freshwater waterways provide a similar backdrop that demands performance and functionality.
The Vernon, BC boatbuilder is also building off a strong 2024 where they launched the similarly capable 2725 and 3025 XRS models. Originally known as HarberCraft in the 1950s and based out of Ontario, Canada, the Kingfisher manufacturing facility in Vernon is regarded as a beacon of Canadian boatbuilding.
The 23 XAC will carry an LOA of 23'1" with a 250 HP engine, while the 25 XAC will come in at 25'1" with a 300 HP engine. Both model will have a 16° variable deadrise, making them stable in various water conditions. The 23 XAC offers a fuel capacity of 322 L (85 USG), and the 25 XAC has the same fuel capacity with an option for a larger 125 USG tank. Cabin headroom on both models is 6'3", providing ample space for extended time on the water.
Standout features of the 23 and 25 XAC models include an extra-large cuddy cabin with a V- berth mattress that sleeps two people. The cabin also has lockable access doors, USB charge points, and underfloor storage. The boats have direct bonded glass windows, tinted side cabin windows with integrated sliders and screens, and a roof hatch with a screen for ventilation.
Seating options on both models include dual center-facing bench seats, which can be reconfigured to create an L-shaped rear-facing seat. The 25 XAC also has an optional galley and dinette package, which includes a stainless sink, faucet, refrigerator, freshwater holding tank, and option for diesel stove. Both models come with an integrated under-deck winch/anchor locker, and options for a windlass or winch.
