Princecraft's renown for combining fishing capability with family functionality took another forward leap today with the announcement of the all-new Sport 182. The all-new model is a unique and balanced blend of fishing and family features that will appeal to new and seasoned boaters looking for the rugged consistency from Princecraft's well-respected aluminum hulls.
The new model will range from 17'-18' and has a noticeable focus on family safety and comfort, as well as keeping serious appeal to hardcore anglers.
According to Princecraft president Rodier Grondin, “The voice of our customers drives our research and product development, and the Sport 182 was designed to appeal to our customers' needs and evolving preferences. The Sport 182 is the first of many exciting launches planned for this year and beyond, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to officially introduce this new model to the marketplace.”
The new hull design includes a wider bow and stern designed for more functional space around the deck and a more stable and consistent ride. Notable features for anglers include oversized livewells at bow and stern, rod holder storage, insulated cooler, SeaStar hydraulic steering with tilt wheel and slider, and transom tie downs. Other available features include a sun top with bimini canvas, towing cover, removable ski pylon, Minn Kota electric trolling motor, Hunningbird Helix 7 sonar, GPS, and a Jensen audio system.
Color options for the hull include Black, Grey, or Blue. Power options come via Mercury Marine 115 hp or 150 hp Pro XS outboards. Each Sport 182 also comes standard with a custom-fitted galvanized trailer.
