Burgeoning Finish boatbuilder Saxdor Yachts continues to defy the conventional wisdom with the launch of the all-new 340 DTWA.

The unique walkaround design blends hydrid design details with a traditional cabin cruiser while still maintaining Saxdor's European chic styling.

The company manufactures its boats in Elk, Poland.

Since 2021, the company has seen a steady increase in both market share and industry appeal, helped by the launch of the well-received 320 GTO in 2021, followed by the similar albeit smaller 270 GTO in 2023.

Saxdor has also gained further traction with the GTO concept with the launch of the 400 GTO, also in 2023, followed by the announcement of a new flagship 460 GTC earlier this year.

The all-new 340 GTWA will slot in the middle of the lineup while providing a blend of GTO cabin cruiser-style features paired with their new walkaround layout. Fold-down side terraces also mark another new addition to the design style, a new trend that's gaining popularity among big water and offshore cruiser owners.

The new design is set to be unveiled during the fall trade show season, starting with the Cannes Yachting Festival this September.

According to a press release, the 340 GTWA will be the "first wheelhouse walkaround model in Saxdor’s fleet and the only in its category to feature large side terraces that increase and enhance the space available to guests when opened."

Other perks include a large cockpit area with side-opening bulwarks that create 40% more exterior space around the floorplan. Two aft swimming platforms make for easy entry and egress off the stern, while the fold-down terraces on both sides increase the floorspace dramatically for socializing.

Access to the wheelhouse comes via two large sliding glass doors which provide both weather proofing and a clear split between social areas. Large glass windows and an oversized sunroof ensure ample sunlight anywhere on the main deck. Within the cockpit lies a standard dining area with a swivel seat for mixing social time with travel.

The helm station features two 12" chartplotters and a 3-oerson sofa.

Up front, the bow lounge can be converted into a solarium or picnic area with seating for up to 6 people.

Down below, the impressively large cabin offers a large forward double cabin with two double beds and a complete head. In addition, the optional aft cabin, which can be accessed by lifting the aft sofa, can also accommodate two people. Both cabins benefit from ample natural light from large windows, with the forward cabin lit through a roof hatch and a large side window.
