The 2025 Sea-Doo FishPro Apex and Sea-Doo Switch Fish

Sea-Doo has announced the launch of two new fishing focused models for 2025 -- the FishPro Apex PWC and the Sea-Doo Switch Fish.

The BRP-owned brand launched the Sea-Doo Switch in 2021 as one of the most adaptable pontoons on the market. Their unique LinQ system allows the layout to be modified easily, and handlebar steering makes for a unique driving experience. They added a more luxury focused Switch Limited in 2023 which offers a host of higher-end features.

On the PWC front, BRP has been steadily adding more adventure-focused models that allow PWC fans to experience the water beyond the simple cruising lifestyle. They added the Explorer Pro 170 and RPX-X Apex 300 in 2023.

In 2024, the company also overhauled their engine capabilities with the arrival of the higher-output 1630 ACE Rotax engine.

Sea-Doo FishPro Apex PWC

The FishPro Apex will represent the pinnacle of Sea-Doo’s fishing lineup of PWCs in 2025.

Equipped with all the features of the existing FishPro Trophy, the FishPro Apex will raise the bar by adding even more new features. As a tournament-caliber PWC, the FishPro Apex will be powered by a 300 hp Rotax 1630 ACE engine. It will also include a tall touring windshield, hydraulic steering damper, and adjustable handlebar riser help the rider find the ideal riding position.

Other fishing-focused features on the FishPro Apex include a 9-inch Garmin fish finder GPS with a picture-window view below the surface, chart plotting, ride tracking, and more compatible apps to help find the fish. A modular swivel seat makes fishing easier and the LinQ cooler with integrated livewell and washdown keep the fish or bait alive and rinse the PWC clean. In addition, an intelligent debris free (iDF) pump system allows riders to get as close to the action as possible and clear a clogged intake with the push of a button should the rider get into the weeds. It will also come standard with seven rod holders placed all around the vessel. A rear deck extension will also add stability, while 4 LinQ attachment points allow riders to carry more tackle, equipment, or fuel for the day’s adventures. Docking and beaching has been made even easier and safer with pop-up cleats that safely store out of the way when not in use, plus a heavy-duty grab handle along the front of the PWC.

Sea-Doo Switch Fish

Sea-Doo’s Switch family of pontoons will add a fishing and family focused model for 2025 with the new Sea-Doo Switch Fish. Available in 18- and 21-foot lengths, both Switch Fish models are driven by the Rotax 1630 ACE 230 hp engine (18’ also available with 170 hp).

The Switch Fish comes outfitted with two Garmin fish finders providing a window below the surface from both the bow and console of the pontoon. Additionally, a fully integrated from factory bow-mounted Garmin Force Kraken trolling motor featuring anchor lock helps maintain a specific spot on the water with pinpoint accuracy. Once the fish have been found, it’s time to grab the fishing rods and start casting from the fishing pedestal seats while other members of the family can stay cool in the shade of the bimini top. An included quick-attach 68L LinQ cooler and livewell are ready to hold the day's catch while an integrated washdown system keeps the pontoon as clean as possible.

The Switch Fish will also offer dedicated locking storage space to keep tackle and other valuables safe. A separate quick-access rod storage compartment provides an easy and safe solution to store up to 4 rods. The included LinQ Lite rod holders keep the tools of the trade at the ready and can be mounted on nearly any rail location. The patented LinQ accessory attachment points on the rear deck swim platform also offer a variety of configurations to make sure there is enough space for fuel, snacks, or gear.

Front and rear corner doors provide easy access to the Switch Fish on the dock and the water. Carpet is used by the front doors as well as on the rear swim platform to increase overall comfort. The Switch Fish, like every other Switch model, will come standard with a painted trailer (galvanized option available).
