Wellcraft continues to reinvent itself with the launch of a new center console series for 2025.
The company has announced the release of a new crossover model that will mark the beginnings of a new line of boats for the reinvigorated brand.
Many boaters know the Wellcraft name from its era of high-performance boats like the Wellcraft 38 Scarab KV from Miami Vice, but since being purchased by Beneteau Groupe in 2014 the company has undergone an impressive overhaul.
In the last two years alone, Wellcraft has released a series of new yacht designs that signified a new era in terms of design and performance. The new design aesthetic first showed with the Wellcraft 355 in 2022, followed by a Fast Cruiser in 2023, and finally a new flagship Wellcraft 435 in late 2023.
Now the company will add the new design aesthetic to series of smaller center consoles that will include an intriguing mix of performance and function to hit the market in 2025.
"This crossover concept is a multi-role center console with a unique combination of performance, seaworthiness and entertaining space which will attract younger boaters seeking thrills on the water," said Luka Modrijan, Product Manager for Wellcraft, in a press release.
With an LOA of 38'10" (11.85 m) the new design is set to make its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in France from Sept 10th-15th, 2024. Wellcraft is headquartered in Cadillac, Michigan while Groupe Beneteau is also based out of France. Groupe Beneteau also owns several other major brands including Jeanneau, Prestige, Delphia, Four Winns, and Scarab.
